Merry and Bright Christmas Greeting Cards

Hello Friends! On today’s blog post, I’d love to share with you these two light pink Merry and Bright Christmas greeting cards that, I’ve made using; stamp sets and a large die by The Stamp Market so, without further ado, please keep on reading this blog post. ↓

To begin with, I started by cutting with the paper trimmer two card standard A2 size card panels out a Blush Card Stock sheet. Next, I treated both card panels with Embossing Powder Tool because, I was going to white heat embossing over them to create my own background. To do that first; I stamped with Embossing Ink the spruces from the Merry and Bright Stamp Set all over until, I created a pattern on each of the card panels. Then, after the stamping, I covered the stamping with Opaque Bright White Embossing Powder and, I heat set the card panels until the powder was completely melted.

Once, the white heat embossing was done, I trimmed the edges of each card panel slightly smaller than an A2 size card base and, I adhered the backing of them with foam mounting tape to two top folding white card bases and, I set them aside while I created the focal points for each card. For the first card, I stamped the Merry Bright sentiment with Blush Ink on a piece of white card stock then, I treated the center of the sentiment with embossing tool powder because, I stamped with embossing ink the And as, I gold heat embossed it with Metallic Gold Rich Embossing Powder. Soon after the heat embossing, I ran through the die-cutting machine the sentiment along with a square die to die-cut it out of the white card stock. To create the gold frame, I ran through the die-cutting machine a larger square die from the same set to cut the frame out of gold card stock. So, as soon as both squares were cut, I stacked them both and, I foam mounted them afterwards to the card as you can see in the picture above.

For the second example, I ran through the die-cutting machine 1X the Fa La La Die to die-cut the sentiment out of gold card stock. Then, I ran through the die-cutting machine once again but, this time I cut the sentiment out of fun foam because, I wanted to add dimension. So, once both cuts were done, I stacked them together and, I adhered the backing of the large Fa La La sentiment to the card. At first, I was going to leaves as is but, I decided to gold heat emboss a small sentiment from the Holiday Greetings Stamp Set which, I trimmed and adhered as you can see in the picture above.

To finish both cards off, I adhered here and there some of the Heaven Sent Sparkly Mix sequins with liquid glue for a Sparkly/Shiny look! So, that’s all for today friends, I hope that these Light Pink Christmas Cards inspire you to give them a try! As always, I appreciate the time you take to read my blog posts.
