Happy Sunday, Friends! On today’s blog, I’d like to share with you a happy birthday inspiration card made with a “Glimmering & Floral” look using: Inky Floral Background Stamp and Inky Floral Background Stencil to create the floral background look. Also, Sentiment Suite: Happy Birthday Foil and Sentiment suite: Happy Birthday Die Set + Solid Hot Foil Plate to add the hot foil stamping and reverse hot foil stamping birthday sentiment. And, last but certainly not least, PFS- Inks. to add the subtle pops of color to the background. So, without further ado let’s jump right into the step-by-step for how I made it ↓
Therefore, I started off by getting the stamping done over an A2 white card panel so, to do that, I went ahead to place inside my MISTI Mini Stamp Tool the card panel and then, I used the Inky Floral Background Stamp to get the floral background stamped over it using, Warm Buff Ink.
Next, as soon as, I had finished the stamping step, I proceeded adding the inked floral look to the background using the stencils included in Inky Floral Background Stencil along with some ink blending brushes and a combination of Coral Reef Ink, Peach Fuzz Ink, Marigold Ink, and Clementine Ink.
Once, I had finished adding the pops of colors to the floral background, I continued adding the Happy Birthday hot foil stamped sentiment directly over the inked panel using both plates included in Sentiment Suite: Happy Birthday Foil along with a large piece of Glimmer Hot Foil Roll - Gold and using Spellbinders Glimmer Hot Foil System and Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine for the hot foil stamping process.
Although, I decided to get the hot foil stamping directly over the floral background for this example, I would like to mention that, the sentiment coordinates with Sentiment suite: Happy Birthday Die Set; which is perfect to cut out the reverse hot foil stamping created after using the leftover foil and Solid Hot Foil Plate.
Moving on, to continue with the card assembling, I went ahead to use the large die included in Essentials: Diagonal Stitched Rectangles Die Set to cut out the card background frame and to add the diagonal stitching details to it. Then, to finish the card off, I went ahead to get the backing of the card panel adhered with Double Sided Adhesive Foam to add dimension over an A2 size top folding white card base.
Finally, to keep it simple, I decided to leave it as is without adding any extra embellishment to let the sentiment shine over the beautiful floral background. And, with that being said friends, I hope that you’ve enjoyed reading the step-by-step for how I’ve made this happy birthday inspiration card with a “Glimmering & Floral” look using products by Pinkfresh Studio.
