Happy Sunday, Friends! Today, I’d like to share with you this set of “Monochromatic/Masculine” with a touch of gold inspiration cards made using Indigo Vines Washi Tape, Indigo Vines Stamp Set and Indigo Vines Die by Pinkfresh Studio. So, without further ado let’s jump right into the step-by-step for how I made them ↓
To begin with, I started off by creating a dimensional A2 standard size card in portrait form so therefore, I quickly started off by unrolling the Indigo Vines Washi Tape and sticking it over a W 9-1/4’’x H 4-1/4’’ inches white cardstock panel. Once, I had that step done, I used a Rotary Cutter to cut off the large piece out of the washitape roll. Then, as soon as I had that step, I went ahead to get the Indigo Vines Die line up over the panel, and once I had that step done, I’ve gone ahead to run them through my Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine to die cut the floral pieces out of the card panel.
Therefore, after having all die-cutting pieces done, I proceed to set them off to the side and then, I repeated the die-cutting process 2 more times. First, in the same way as I did it previously, and the second time out of gold cardstock.
Thus, as soon as I had finished all the die-cutting, I went ahead to layer each leafy cluster die cut shapes out of the washi tape over the gold die cut shape to create a gold shadow to them. And, once I had that step done, I started the assembling for the card. So, to do that I went ahead to stack together 2 diamond background which I’ve had previously die-cut out of white and gold cardstock using, Simply Diamonds Die. Then, I created 2 cluster with the layered leaves, and I’ve gotten them mounted over the lower and upper corners of the card (as shown in the image above.) Lastly, I’ve gone ahead to glue down a sentiment which I’ve gotten stamped with embossing ink and gold heat embossing on a piece of translucent vellum. Last but not least, I finished the card off by gluing down here and there with liquid glue some of the dark blue jewels including in Essentials: Jewel Mix adding that way a touch of sparkle!
Moving on, for the second example, I created a landscape form card using the die cut shape wreath from the washi tape so therefore, to keep it simple with a cohesive diamond background look this time instead of using the background die, I went ahead to use its coordinating stamp which happens to be Pop Out: Diamonds Cling Stamp Set to get the white background panel stamp and heat emboss it.
Thus, to assemble the card, I went ahead to get the backing of the card panel adhered with double-sided tape to an A2 side folding card base and then, I’ve gotten the die cut shape wreath mounted with craft foam tape pieces right in the center of the card. Then, to make it appeared fuller looking, I’ve also gotten mounted some of the small clusters leafy die cut shapes over it using foam square adhesives for an extra dimensional look.
Having that said, I finished the card by mounting a sentiment which I’ve gotten stamped and heat embossing over a piece of translucent vellum and then, I’ve also gotten glue down here and there with liquid glue some of the blue jewels to complement the sparkle on both cards.
NOTE: The sentiments on both cards are including on Indigo Vines Stamp Set.
With that being said friends, I hope that you’ve enjoyed reading the step-by-step for how I’ve made this set of “Monochromatic/Masculine” with a touch of gold inspiration cards.
