In My Heart Friendship┃Inspiration Card

Happy Friday, Friends! On today’s blog, I’m taking a break from holiday cards so, I’d like to share with you a very delicate friendship inspiration card made with a “Floral & Golden” look using: In My Heart Stamp, In My Heart Stencils, and In My Heart Die to create the floral frame. Along with this beautiful set, I used Small Butterflies Hot Foil Plate, Small Butterflies Layering Stencil, and Small Butterflies Die to add the butterfly touch to the floral frame corners. And lastly, Geo Tiles Cover Plate Die to add the intricate background plus, PFS- Inks to add the pops of colors to the card elements. So, without further ado let’s jump right into the step-by-step for how I made it ↓

Therefore, I started off by getting the hot foil stamping done over a a large piece of white card so, to do that, I went ahead to use Small Butterflies Hot Foil Plate along with Glimmer Hot Foil System and Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine plus, a large piece of Glimmer Hot Foil Roll - Matte Gold.

Next, as soon as, I had gotten the hot foil stamping step completed, I proceeded to use the stencils included in Small Butterflies Layering Stencil to ink up the butterflies using some ink blending brushes along with the following ink hues: Ocean Breeze Ink, Aquamarine Ink, Mermaid Cove Ink, and Tidal Pond Ink. Then, after I had gotten them ink up, I gone ahead to use Small Butterflies Die to cut out the butterflies from the cardstock.

Once, I had finished cutting the butterflies out from the cardstock, I went ahead to put them off to the side and then, I used the MISTI Stamp Tool to get the floral frame stamped over an A2 size white card panel using, the floral frame stamp image included in In My Heart Stamp. As for the stamping step, I used: Magic Powder Bag to remove any static from the cardstock also, Brutus Monroe Embossing Ink for the stamping and lastly, Metallic Embossing Powder- Gilded and Wow Embossing Powder Dual Speed Heat Tool for the heat embossing step.
QUICK NOTE: I would like to mention that to make it easier, I did the die-cutting step for the floral frame image before doing the stamping step so, to do that, I used In My Heart Die. I prefer doing this way because, I find easier to line up the frame over the white die-cutting silhouette.

Moving on, after getting the die-cutting, stamping and heat embossing process for the floral frame, I went ahead to use the stencils included in In My Heart Stencils to add the pops of color to the flowers and greenery. Thus, to do that, I went ahead to use some ink blending brushes along with the following ink hues: Ballet Slipper Ink and Sparkling Rose Ink for the pink flowers. Candy Violet Ink and Regal Kiss Ink for the purple flowers. Aquamarine Ink and Mermaid Cove Ink for the aqua flowers. Plus Lemon whip Ink and Persimmon Ink for the flower centers. And last but not least, Misty Coast Ink to add an appearance of white flowers plus, Evergreen Ink for the leaves

Lastly, after I had finished adding the pops of colors to the floral frame, I went ahead to start the card assembling so, to do that, I went ahead to glue down over an A2 size side folding white card base in a landscaping form and intricate yet delicate card background; a card background which, I had gotten previously cut out from white cardstock using Geo Tiles Cover Plate Die. Next, I’ve got mounted the floral frame over it using square foam adhesives to add a little bit of dimension. Then, I went ahead to glue down the butterflies in the lower left and upper right corners of the floral frame. And last but not least, I went ahead to glue down the card sentiment; a extra dimensional card sentiment which, I created by using one of the card sentiment stamp image and its coordinating die both included in the same set used to create the floral frame.

And, with that being said friends, I hope that you’ve enjoyed reading the step-by-step for how I’ve made this delicate friendship inspiration card with a “Floral & Golden” look using products by Pinkfresh Studio.
