For the first example I used the Butterfly Garden background plates set to create the card panel background. So, to begin with I started by running through the die cutting machine three pieces of white card stock along with every single plate from the set. Because, this set comes with three layering plates I decided to heat emboss two of the layers by heat embossing the bottom layer with Primary Bluetiful, and the middle layer with Opaque Pastel Yellow. Once, the heat embossing was done I adhered each of the layers creating the background for the card. However, as you can see I left the top layer in plain white as I wanted to create a contrast between the white from the card base, and the white from the top layer of the card panel. Soon after I was done layering the card panel, I adhered it to an A2 standard size white side folding card, and to keep thing even more simple I used a Hello layering die to cut out of white card stock both layers . Right after both layers were cut I adhered them with liquid glue, and soon afterwards I adhered the Hello to one of the lower sides of the card.

For the second example I used only the bottom of the layering plates from the set. And because this plate cut out the center of each outlined butterfly I decided to inlay them to the card panel. But before that I decided to heat emboss each of the butterflies by using the same embossing powders. Once, they were heat embossed I adhered the card panel to an A2 size white folding card base, and I inlaid every single butterfly along with the six point little stars. As for the Hello for the card I repeated the same steps as the first example.

Finally, to finish the cards off I added a few sequins by adhering them here and there with liquid glue for a sparkly look, also I each Hello from each of the cards with shimmer by adding Nuvo Aqua Shimmer pen of top of them, and for a last touch I covered each Hello with glossy accent for a glossy shimmery look.

Even though I know is really hard to capture every single detail in photography, I hope that you get an idea on how sparkly, and dimensional these cards actually are!

So, that’s all for today friends, I hope these cards inspire you to give these designs, and the challenge a try! As always I appreciate the time you take to read my blog posts.
