Coffee Greetings Card

Hello There! On today's Blog, I would like to share with you the first card that I have created with My Monthly Hero Arts August cardkit. I love how this kit is full of beautiful sentiments for WE the coffee lovers. Also, I love how playful and how well the cute coffee cup and mugs stamp and frame dies coordinate.

SO LET'S GET STARTED

To begin with, I stamped a few of the coffee cups with Intense Black Ink by MFTS. Then, I die cut 2 of them with the coordinate dies using a cutting machine.

Second, I used Copic Markers for the coloring. Here are the colors that I used; Earth Tone colors E25, E29 for the coffee. And, Gray Toner colors T0, T2 for the cups.

Third, for the card panel, I inked the Distressed Tile Bold Prints background cling stamp with Soft Vanilla ink both by Hero Arts on a piece of 80lb Neenah Classic Crest Solar White that measured H5.25" X W 4.0" creating a soft background for a Clean and Simple handmade/greeting card.

Embossing/layering

Fourth, for the embossing. I used the White Puff Embossing Powder that was included and the kit for the Whipped Topping Cream and Fine Detail Gold embossing powder by Gina K Designs for the sentiments in the cups. You can take a closer look of the detailed effect from the puff embossing powder in this picture.

Fifth, after I figured out where I was going to place the cups I stamped one of the sentiments on top of the card panel with Versafine Onyx Black. Then, for the layering I adhered the backed of the first cup with liquid glue to the card panel. Once, it was dry out I stamped the steam image in the middle of the cup with Versafine Onyx Black Ink. Right after, I adhered the backed of the second cup and the Whipped Topping cream with foam tape for dimension in between them. And, to finish it up I adhered the backed of the card panel to an A2 size white card base.

Your imagination is Your limit.

I hope you get Inspired and give this design a try! Just keep in mind, that you can create the same design with any combination of stamps sets, patterned and color papers.

Thank You, your time is valuable. Don't forget to spread kindness, Today and Always.
Best,
Yasmin
