Floral Notes Congrats┃Inspiration Card

Happy Wednesday, Friends! On today’s blog, I’d like to share with you a very delicate “Congrats” inspiration card made with a dimensional floral look using: Floral Notes Stamp Set, Floral Notes Coordinating Stencil Set and Floral Notes Coordinating Die by Pinkfresh Studio. Along with these sets, I’ve also used Blanket Stitched Rectangles Die Set and Essentials Blanket Stitched Oval Die Set to add the decorative stitching details to the card front panel also, I used Curvy Leaves Die Set and Geo Tiles Cover Plate Die to add more texture and fullness to the floral cluster plus, Brushed Sentiments Hot Foil and Brushed Sentiments Dies for the card sentiment and last but certainly not least, Metallic Pearls -Gold for the card embellishments and PFS- Inks to add the pops of colors to the floral cluster. So, without further ado let’s jump right into the step-by-step for how I made it ↓

Therefore, I started off by getting the stamping done for the slimline flora cluster over a large piece of white cardstock thus, I went ahead to place the large cardstock piece inside my Memory MISTI and then, I went ahead to line up over it the large floral stamp image included in Floral Notes Stamp Set. Next, I added a food amount of Embossing Powder Tool to the cardstock and then, I proceeded to get the image stamped twice for a better precision using VersaMark Ink.

Right after that, I’ve had gotten finished getting the stamping done, I’ve gone ahead to cover the stamped image with Metallic Embossing Powder- Gilded and then, I got the embossing powder heated set it using my Wow Embossing Powder Dual Speed Heat Tool. Once, I had gotten finished the heat embossing process, I proceeded to get the layered stenciling step to add the pops of colors to the floral cluster.

Thus, to do that, I used the three stencils included in Floral Notes Coordinating Stencil Set along with Marigold Ink and Clementine Ink for the small buds. Also, Grassy Knoll Ink, Olive Ink and Evergreen Ink for the leaves + Ocean Breeze Ink and Mermaid Cove Ink for the large flowers. That being said, as soon as, I had gotten finished the stenciling for it, I proceeded to set it off aside to let the inks soak in to the cardstock.

Meanwhile, I went ahead to line up Geo Tiles Cover Plate Die over a large piece of white cardstock and then, I proceeded to run them through my Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine to cut out the detailed card background. Next, to keep going with the die-cutting process, I went ahead to line up over an A2 size white card panel the larger die included in Blanket Stitched Rectangles Die Set along with the smaller die included in Essentials Blanket Stitched Oval Die Set to add the blanket stitching details to the front card panel and also, to cut out the oval frame in the center from it.

Moving on, right after that I had gotten finished the die-cutting process for the front card panel. I went ahead to add pieces of Double Sided Adhesive Foam to raise dimension to it and then, I put it aside to get the intricate die-cutting panel gluing down to an A2 size top folding white card base. Once, I had gotten finished gluing down the intricate background to the card, I mounted the card panel to the card and then, I proceeded to add the floral touch to the card.

The floral cluster it’s designed for a slimline size card however, that does not mean we can use it on an A2 size card. So, to make it fits on the A2 size card, I went ahead to use my Precision Tip Scissors to fussy cut out the floral cluster in three pieces. That being said, after getting that done, I proceeded to tuck in the smaller pieces under the large piece and then, I got them glue down with liquid glue and foam adhesive to the left side of the oval opening, adding that way some dimension to it. Lastly, to add more dimension and a fullest look to the floral cluster, I went ahead to cut out some extra leaves using the smaller die included in Curvy Leaves Die Set. Although, I wanted a fuller look, I decided to use Vellum instead of colored cardstock for a subtle look, you can see in the image above what I mean by that after I had gotten the leaves gluing down here and there to the floral cluster.

Finally, to finish the card off, I added the foiled and die-cutting card sentiment just as shown in the image above. A card sentiment which, I had gotten created previously using Brushed Sentiments Hot Foil and Brushed Sentiments Dies along with a piece of Glimmer Hot Foil Roll: Aura and Glimmer Hot Foil System Platform for the hot foil stamping process. Then, as a finishing touch, I went ahead to use my Jewels Picker and Bearly Art Precision Craft Glue to glue down here and there some of Metallic Pearls -Gold to add an extra pop of sparkle to the card. And, with that being said friends, I hope that you’ve enjoyed reading the step-by-step for how I’ve made this delicate “Congrats” inspiration card using, products by Pinkfresh Studio.
