Concord & 9TH April 2022 Feature Friday Week 2┃Inspiration Cards

Happy Friday, Friends! On today’s blog, I’d like to share with you a set of inspiration card with a “Colorful” look showcasing the latest: Umbrella Turnabout Stamp, Hello Wishes Stamp, and Hello Wishes Dies from the April’s Release by Concord & 9TH. Along with these beautiful sets, I’ve used Assorted Color Cardstock, Concord & 9th Inks, and Turnabout Jig for the stamping process. So, without further ado let’s jump right into the step-by-step on how I made them ↓

Therefore, for the first example, I started off by lining up the Turnabout Jig inside my MISTI Stamp Tool. Next, I went ahead to line up over it the alignment aids included in Umbrella Turnabout Stamp and then, I lined up the turnabout stamp over it. Once, I had the stamp lined up over the alignment aids, I went ahead to pick up the stamp with the MISTI stamping tool door to get the stamping started.

Thus, for the stamping process, I went ahead to place down over the Turnabout Jig an A2 white card panel and then, I proceeded to follow the 1, 2, 3, and 4 steps alongside with Grapefruit, Sorbet, Parsley, and Aqua Sky Concord & 9th Inks to get the stamped background completed over the card panel.

Having that said, as soon as, I’ve had gotten the front card panel stamped, I went ahead to get 1/4 of an inch trim down using my Paper Trimmer and then, I got the backing of it adhered with craft foam and double-sided adhesive to an A2 size top folding white card base. Lastly, after getting the front card panel adhered to the card base, I went ahead to use my Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine along with one of the dies included in Just Saying Dies to create the “here for you” die-cutting card sentiment. As for the die-cutting card sentiment, I used white cardstock for the shadow layer and gold cardstock for the top layer. Moving on, after getting the die-cutting process for the card sentiment done, I went ahead to layer it over and then, I finished the card off by getting the layered card sentiment gluing down in the center of the card.

For the second example, I made a dimensional card by adding some mini die-cutting floral clusters over the layered stamped card panel. Thus, for the layered stamping process, I went ahead to use the two-steps stamp images included in Hello Wishes Stamp. And, as for the stamping process, lining up the double-step stamped images is made easy with tabs on the two large stamps and a guide on the back of the packaging. Also, to make it easier, I’d like to mention that it’ll be better using a stamping tool however, I’m sure that the stamping can be possible by using an acrylic block as well.

Having that said, for the stamping I used the same hues that I used for the previous example. Thus, as soon as, I’ve had finished the stamping over an A2 size white card panel, I went ahead to get the edges trim down and then, I got its backing layered over a slightly larger card panel. As for the slightly card panel, I used Aqua Sky colored cardstock from the Assorted Color Cardstock Pack. Then, to create the small die-cutting floral cluster, I went ahead to use the dies included in Hello Wishes Dies alongside with some of the cardstock hues included in the same pack.

Lastly, I went ahead to get both smaller die-cutting floral clusters mounted over the card as shown in the image above. Then, as soon as, I’ve had finished mounting the floral clusters, I proceeded to finish the card off by getting the card sentiments mounted in the center of the card. By the way, I’d like to mention that I used a combination of some of the sentiments included in Hello Wishes Stamp and Rain or Shine Stamp sets to create the card sentiment.

Last but certainly not least, as a finishing touch, I used my Jewels Picker along with Bearly Art Precision Craft Glue to glue down some of the Crystal Confetti to each card just to add a touch of sparkle to them. With that being said friends, I hope you’ve enjoyed reading the step-by-step for how I’ve made this set of inspiration card with a “Colorful” look using some of the stamp and die sets from the April’s Release by Concord & 9TH.
