Choose Hope┃Inspiration Card

Happy Monday, Friends! It’s the first day of the month and today, I’d like to share with you an “Encouragement Floral” inspiration card made using Choose Hope Stamp Set, Choose Hope Die and Choose Hope Layering Stencil Set. Along with them, I’ve also used Inks by Pinkfresh Studio. So, without further ado let’s jump right into the step-by-step for how I made it ↓

To begin with, I inking it up the floral cluster over an A2 white card panel, so therefore, to do that I started by lining it up Stencil #1 from Choose Hope Layering Stencil Set over the white card panel and then, I used an ink blending brush along with Key Lime Ink. Next, I continued the ink blending by inking it up the detailed layer for the leaves by using Stencil #2 along with Olive Ink.

Moving on, I continued the ink blending for the flowers by lining it up Stencil #3 along with Ballet Slipper Ink, Stencil #4 along with Sparkling Rose Ink and last but not least, Stencil #5 along with Bubble Gum Ink. Once, I had the ink blending done, I went ahead to let the inks soak in to the card panel and once they were completely soak in, I went ahead to place the card panel inside my MISTI Stamping Tool to get the detailed image for the flower cluster stamping over the ink blended floral cluster.

Thus, to stamp the detailed image I used Rocky Slope Ink for a very soft look, and as soon as I had finished stamping over it, I went ahead to line up Choose Hope Die which happens to be its coordinating die to die-cut the floral cluster out of the card panel. Then, right after that I had that step done, I went ahead to set the die-cutting floral cluster off to the side while I created the detailed background for the card.

As for the card background, I went ahead to ink up an A2 standard size white card panel using an ink blending brush along with Ocean Breeze Ink. Next, as soon as I’ve gotten it ink up, I went ahead to line up over it Essentials: Fancy Diagonal Stripes Die and then, I ran them through my Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine to add texture to it by dry embossing it over the card panel following the instructions from my die-cutting machine. Lastly, to finish the die-cutting process, I also went ahead to line up over an A2 white card panel the 2 largest dies from Essentials: Stitched Rectangles Die Set and I also ran them thru the die-cutting machine to die-cut a stitched frame out of it.

Nevertheless, I went ahead to start the assembling for the card so therefore, to do that, I went ahead to mount the white stitched frame with skinny pieces of craft mounting tape over the textured and inked card panel to raise dimension. Next, I trimmed off the edges from it and then I’ve gotten it adhere with double-sided tape to an A2 top folding white card base. Then, to add even more dimension, I went ahead to mount with craft mounting tape the floral cluster and to add more texture, I also went ahead to tuck in a few die-cutting leaves which I had previously die-cut out of translucent vellum using dies from Curvy Leaves Die Set.

Lastly, to finish the card off, I went ahead to mount a small sentiment which I had previously stamped heat gold embossing over a piece of white cardstock along with a larger sentiment which I had also stamped, heat gold embossing and fussy-cut it out of white cardstock using a small pair of scissors. Then, right after I had the assembling done, I added white splattering over the card and then, I glued down with liquid glue here and there some pink jewels from Essentials: Jewel Mix to add a touch of sparkle. With that being said friends, I hope that you’ve enjoyed reading the step-by-step for how I’ve made this “Encouragement Floral” inspiration card.
