Mermaid Birthstone Seashell Card

Mermaid Birthstone seashell Card

Hello and welcome to another Mermaid card blog post! Today I am sharing with you how quick and easy was to create this card. Can you tell how inspired I was by Princess Ariel? Well, I guess you can! So Let's Get Started

Stamping

First, I stared by stamping with Black Ink in a piece of Strathmore Bristol paper the Mermaid and the Seashell both from the Beautiful Mermaids stamp set. Then, I used a die cutting machine along with the coordinated dies to die cut them both.

Coloring

For this card, I used the Zig Clean Brush Pens as the coloring media as you can see in the picture above.

For the layout, I started by stamping on a Neenah Classic Crest 80lb Solar White card panel size the bubbles and the starfish with Barely Beige ink until the card panel was all cover up. You might not be able to see it. But, I promise to you is there. Once, I was done with the stamping. I adhered the backed of the card panel to an A2 top folding card base. For this card base, I used Schoolhouse Red by Simon Says Stamp. Then, I adhered the backed of the Mermaid and a sentiment that I had already stamped from the stamp set with foam mounting tape to the card panel. To finish it up I added a few Gold sequins and a Purple jewel to the center of the seashell.

Your imagination is Your limit.

I hope you get Inspired and give this design a try! Just keep in mind, that you can create the same design with any combination of color media or stamp sets.
Happy Crafting!

Thank You, your time is valuable. Don't forget to spread kindness, Today and Always.
Best,
Yasmin
