Alex Syberia Designs May-Digi Stamp Release Blog Hop + Giveaway
Happy Sunday, Friends! Welcome to the wonderful Alex Syberia Designs May-Digi Stamp Release Blog Hop. If you’re in the right track, you’ve should arrived here from Jenny Colacicco’ Blog but…if this is your started point make sure to start from Alex Syberia’s Blog. So, without further ado let’s jump right into the step by step on how I made this card using the new; Full Bloom Digital Stamp ↓
To begin with, I started by downloading, printing and transferring the Full Bloom Digital Stamp over a 5X7 inches Strathmore Watercolor Panel. Then, once I had the digital stamp transferred to the watercolor card panel, I water-colored the image in with a mix of Pink, Peach, Purple, Green and Blue hues that I had previously create it using my Derwent Intense Watercolor Set.
Therefore, after I had down water-coloring the digital stamp I set the card panel aside to let it dry. Meanwhile, I placed inside my stamping tool a piece of Translucent Vellum that measured W 1’’ X H 7’’ and I placed over it the larger sentiment from Bad Days Happen Stamp Set. So, after I had pick up the sentiment with the stamping tool, I added lots of Embossing Tool Powder and right after that, I got the sentiment stamped over the vellum with WOW! Embossing Pad. Lastly, after I was done stamping the sentiment, I covered the stamped sentiment with WOW! Metallic Gold Rich and I got it gold heat emboss using WOW! Heat Embossing Gun Tool.
Moving on, after the sentiment was heat embossed over the translucent vellum, I set it aside and I trimmed the edges down from the watercolor panel. Once the card panel was trimmed down, I added the last touches to the card panel. So, therefore I added gold to the center and anthers of the flowers by using one hue from the Starry Colors set. So, once the gold touch was completely dry, I traced a frame around the perimeter of the card panel using my Uni-ball Signo Gold Gel Pen and a ruler. Then, after the frame was traced, I placed the sentiment over the card panel, and I folded the ends in to the back of it. Lastly, after the ends were fold to the back, I mounted the card panel with craft foam and double-sided tape to one of the card bases from my Strathmore Watercolor Cards & Envelopes set. Finally, to finish the card off I glued down with liquid glue here and there sequins from my most favorite Heaven Sent Sequin Mix then, as finishing touches, I added shimmer to the flowers and leaves using Nuvo Aqua Shimmer Pen and I added dimension to the anthers and center of the small flowers by adding Glossy Accent for an extra dimensional look. With that said, I hope you’ve enjoyed how I made this card using the new; Full Bloom Digital Stamp by Alex Syberia Designs. As always, I appreciate the time that takes you to read my blog posts.
